My work explores themes of feminism, intergenerational relationships, politics, and others, while experimenting with biological figures; sometimes in a serious manner, but more often in a cheeky manner. I find it unnatural to separate the concepts of “human” and “animal”. I combine and morph biological figures and gestures in an effort to express emotional experiences shared by all living organisms.
I received formal art training at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Upon graduating, I pursued a career in interaction design. For the past two years, I have spent my time further developing my illustration career and expanding my involvement in the local DC arts community.
